CF Guernsey sponsor 2017 Sporting Achievement Awards

Cystic Fibrosis Guernsey are pleased to announce that we are sponsoring the guest speaker at the Guernsey Sports Commission’s 2017 ‘Sporting Achievement Awards’ on a special evening to celebrate the triumphs of our competitive sportsmen and women.

The guest speaker is a good friend of ours, Tim Wotton. Tim represented England playing hockey as a youth. He is an award winning author and is currently a communications consultant in the energy sector (BP), patient ambassador for the CF Trust and international public speaker, who just happens to suffer from CF and CF related diabetes.

His core themes include stressing the importance of physical and mental well being to business performance, life and work purpose and the importance of leaving a lasting legacy by living for every moment. Sport has been a huge part of his life and is one of the main reasons he is still alive today.

The 2017 awards evening will take place on Thursday 11th January 2018, commencing at 6:30 p.m. in the David Ferguson Hall at Beau Sejour.
